The Calhoun Yacht Club is located at the Northeast corner of Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis, MN. The club is run by a volunteer board of directors. The commodore for 2007 is Bill Coppage.

CYC has promoted Sailing in the City for more than 100 years and conducts races for 4 types of sailboats - C Scows, 420’s, Lasers and Optimists - several days a week, from May through September.

Calhoun Yacht Club is the proud host of the annual Aquatennial Sailing Regatta. This sailing regatta is the oldest event in the Aquatennial, dating back to 1940.

New members are always welcome. If you are new to racing, or just want to crew, we'll help you get onto the water and into the fun. A social membership is also available for pleasure sailors and non-sailors.
