Membership Fees

Membership fees apply to PEOPLE, and Racing fees apply to BOATS.

For each boat that participates in weekend or holiday races at CYC:

A Racing Fee must be paid for the boat, and
The skipper and each crew member must be paid members under one of the following categories:

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY		FEE
Family	Entitles any family member to skipper or crew in club-sponsored weekend or holiday races. All family members must reside at the same address.	$90.00
Single	Entitles an individual to skipper or crew in club-sponsored weekend or holiday races.	$65.00
New Member	Entitles an individual or family that has not previously been a CYC member to participate in CYC scheduled races. Racing fee is waived, and therefore member is not eligible for trophies or other awards. May be upgraded to Single or Family membership at any time during the season.	$50.00
Social/ Cruising	Entitles members to participate in social, and cruising activities.	$40.00
New Youth	Entitles an LCSS student (16 or under), in their *first season of competition*, to skipper or crew in CYC club-sponsored races.	$15.00
Crew	Entitles an individual to crew in club-sponsored weekend or holiday races.	$15.00
420 Skipper	Entitles youth to skipper 420s in club-sponsored weekend or holiday races, to participate in CYC social events and receive mailings.	$15.00
OTHER
Racing Fee	A racing fee must be paid for each yacht sailing in a club-sponsored weekend or holiday race. With a *Family* membership, *one racing fee* covers all boats owned and raced by family members. No racing fee is required for weeknight races, or for New members.	Single $115.00 Family $125.00
Photos	CYC will make photos available to all members who want them, and who pay a fee to cover the cost of taking and producing the photos.	$15.00
