LCSS employs quality instructors and proven teaching techniques. Many have extensive racing experience. All staff members receive CPR and Red Cross certification.

A volunteer Board of Directors, most of whom are sailors themselves, oversees all classes and the curriculum. The school is a non-profit, 501.C3 organization and keeps its costs as low as possible. We rely on the help of charitable donations to meet our scholarship and equipment needs.
