Club 420 Sailing

This class is designed for older and more mature students, ages 11-16. The Club 420 is a 14 foot boat with a main and jib, that is raced in high school and college events around the country. It is a fast, fun and stable boat for teenagers to learn on. Sailors learn how to rig the boat and land at the dock and buoy. Different points of sail and boat handling techniques in a variety of wind conditions are also taught.

Students are encouraged to take this course more than once, as they will be offered new opportunities such as learning new boat handling skills and an introduction to racing.
